1. General Cancellation Policy
You can cancel a booking before the service is rendered, such as a test conducted, a sample collected, or a dental treatment started. Once the service is initiated, cancellations will not be accepted.
If cancellation is approved, Diagnopein reserves the right to deduct applicable charges for expenses incurred up to the point of cancellation.
2. Refund Policy
Refunds are considered only under the following conditions:
Wrong Payment or Transaction Error:
If payment is made erroneously, such as by swiping the card into the wrong account, a refund will be initiated upon verification.
Unsuitability for Services Due to Health Conditions:
In cases where changes in the patient’s medical condition (e.g., cardiac, pulmonary, or endocrine disorders) render them unsuitable for the scheduled treatment or diagnostic procedure.
Refund Processing Time:
Refund requests must be submitted via written request on the same day of service.
Refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 working days after verification and approval.
3. Service-Specific Policies
Pathology Services
Refunds are not applicable if:
1. The sample has been collected.
2. The test reports are already generated.
Refunds may be granted for pre-paid tests if canceled before the sample collection.
Radiology Services
Refunds are not applicable once the imaging procedure (e.g., MRI, CT Scan, Sonography, X-ray) is conducted.
Before the procedure can be approved, cancellations are subject to a deduction for administrative expenses.
Dental Treatment
Refunds are considered under the following conditions:
If treatment has not started, prostheses (e.g., aligners, crowns, or dentures) have not been ordered.
Refund Claims Not Eligible:
Partially completed treatments or lab work (e.g., crowns, aligners, dentures) have been initiated.
Patient non-compliance with post-treatment care or instructions leads to treatment complications.
Treatments booked under 0% EMI or finance schemes.
4. Compulsory Deductions for Aligners/Orthodontic/Implant/Other Treatment
If a cancellation or refund is approved, the following deductions will apply:
1. Cancellation of Aligners work: ₹10,000
2. Cancellation of Implant/Orthodontic treatment: ₹5,000
3. For any other treatment: ₹3,000
5. Refund Process
Submit a written refund request detailing the reason for the claim.
Provide all necessary documents, such as receipts, X-rays, test reports, and unused prostheses (if applicable).
Refunds will be processed through:
1. Bank Transfer: 15–30 days.
6. Exceptions to Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds or cancellations are not permitted under the following conditions:
The service is fully or partially rendered (e.g., sample collected, imaging done, treatment initiated).
The patient fails to report for the scheduled appointment or delays treatment.
Prostheses or dental appliances are lost or damaged by the patient.
7. Management Rights
Diagnopein reserves the right to:
Accept or reject any refund or re-treatment request based on clinical findings and service history.
Deny refunds if defamatory remarks are made against the company or its staff.
Note: All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Pune courts, where Diagnopein is registered.
